What Does Task Contribution Level Represent?
What Are the Criteria for High/Medium/Low Impact?
The High/Medium/Low Contribution rating is based on a task's direct impact on your current phase metrics and its connection to the long-term value of your goal.
- High Impact: Tasks that directly determine the core outcome of a phase (e.g., "Complete project proposal" for a "Career Promotion" goal in the Reinforcement phase). Must meet at least two of the following:
- Impacts the phase score by ≥30%.
- Has a ≥80% alignment with the goal's core values.
- Task failure would cause phase progress to drop by >15%.
- Medium Impact: Tasks that indirectly support goal achievement (e.g., "Collect industry data"). Must meet the following criteria:
- Contributes 10%-30% to the phase score.
- Forms a synergistic chain with at least one other task.
- The impact of task failure is controllable (progress drop ≤5%).
- Low Impact: Optimizational or maintenance tasks (e.g., "Update weekly report template"). Characterized by:
- Contribution <10% to the phase score.
- Can be delegated, replaced, or merged with other tasks.
- Has no synergistic dependencies.
Why is Task Progress Controlled Manually by Me?
The design is intentional, based on the following principles:
- Respects Subjective Judgment: You have the best understanding of the actual completion status of your tasks.
- Adapts Flexibly to Context: Suitable for non-linear work (e.g., creative tasks).
- Reduces System Interference: Avoids the cost of correcting errors caused by automatic calculation inaccuracies.
